NOTE: There are One main things to be mindful of when booking a safari to trek gorillas: the cost of the permit. The government necessitate that everyone acquires a gorilla trekking permit. The standard price for the Uganda gorilla tour permit costs $700 USD per person
Gorilla trekking takes around 2 to 8 hours, which is worth it as those into hiking will have a great time climbing up and about the rolling hills, and going through the lush vegetation.

Detailed Itinerary
→ Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi national park
We hope your flight is scheduled for an early morning landing in Uganda. Your safari will start from Entebbe Airport. As your journey begins, You will be picked up by your professional driver-guide who will brief you about your tour and then depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a big habitat for mountain gorillas in Uganda and harbors over 300 of them, all the more reason why it should be your safari destination. As you venture deeper, The drive will take you to southwest Uganda by road. You will cross the Equator and stop in Mbarara for lunch. Drive through savannah grasslands to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It is a scenic drive through the Kigezi Highlands (commonly referred to as “the Switzerland of Uganda”) and banana plantations to the gorilla sanctuary. You will arrive in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and check in at your accommodation. You can relax as you prepare for the Bwindi gorilla trekking experience the next day as well as the Batwa Cultural trail..

→ Day 2: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Uganda
After an early breakfast and a packed lunch, you will walk to the park headquarters for a briefing by the park rangers after which we will head out to track the mystical creatures. During your trekking experience, The beauty of this rainforest is spectacular! The area offers a dramatic, steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you locate a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence.
Along the trail, Enjoy your packed lunch and return to the lodge to freshen up.
As the adventure unfolds, You will then head out for the Batwa trail experience and enjoy cultural dances and local interaction before you proceed to Lake Bunyonyi.
Lake Bunyonyi is framed by lush, green-terraced hills that reach a height of 2,200 to 2,478m, but it’s the 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water that make it most magical. You could admire them all day.

→ Day 3: Departure back to Kampala
After an early breakfast, you can choose to do a community walk, a canoe ride, a boat ride, a bicycle ride, bird watching, cray fishing, or any other activity in Lake Bunyonyi (additional cost payable at the accommodation).
After your activity, the team will set out on a drive to Kampala. You will be dropped off at the airport or your hotel in Kampala. With an incredible experience and loads of memories to cherish, this is the time you bid goodbye to your team.
